People who help us!

The toddlers and preschool children have been talking about people who help us and the different jobs they do, such as Police Officers, Fire Fighters and Doctors. They have been making use of the play gym making emergency calls to the police, “Quick police come quick" they said on the phone. Thomas was hiding in the cosy area and used a cushion for his leg telling his friends "I have hurt my leg".

The children have been exploring different textures in the large trays crunching Cornflakes, Rice Krispies and pasta using different objects such as animals and cars. "Eddie repeated “bang bang" as he was crunching the pasta whilst Albie said "I like Rice Krispies for breakfast, like the animals!".

All the children have enjoyed adventures around Imber Court where they have been crawling, running around and looking for horses. They enjoyed stories under the trees whilst having their snack of fruit and milk.

The babies have been having lots of fun exploring different activities in the baby room. They had great fun with the shredded paper and Duplo in the messy tray, and even more fun throwing it on the floor! They enjoyed exploring the home corner where they have been lifting themselves up to stand showing great control and movement. The babies have also been listening to stories and independently selecting books to look at showing great control holding the book and turning the pages.
