Sparklers!
/What a wonderful sparkler party this week! The children made gingerbread and flapjacks for the occasion, and Zac clapped his hands together, laughing as the flour puffed up into the air and said ‘ Wow, its like fireworks!’. The children played a colour guessing game as they put on their neon bracelets, with Matilda so very happy she had her favourite pink!. ‘Just like Christmas!’ said Joshua when he saw the twinkly starry lights under the pergola. The children loved the sparklers and followed the safety rules extremely well. Some made shapes and others letters of the alphabet using their sparklers; very well done!
As you can see, even the youngest of our children were able to take part , and it is so exciting for them to be with the older children, especially with their brothers and sisters. Thomas was mesmerized by the glowsticks, and Eve was very happy to share mummy’s cupcake! Earlier they had made firework pictures, by splashing paint onto paper, with Xanthe even made her firework patterns on the wall!
