The children all really enjoyed celebrating Father's Day at our Tea Party last week, where they gave their Daddies the cards and place mats they had made. The Daddies all enjoyed the bacon and sausage rolls, and sharing the with the children. Joshua said "Mine Daddy" and Albie said "Mmmm, I like bacon rolls".

The children have been focusing on Teddy Bear week and have brought their much loved teddies from home to have teddy bears picnics. They all enjoyed sitting with their teddies whilst self selecting and self serving Henry said "My teddy have some ". The children have been making teddy bear masks, and Amelie said "I'm going to make my Mummy and Daddy jump later with my mask". The children also had great fun making teddy bear faces using forks to print the paint, Ezra said "They look like spikes!".

This week our sound of the week is 'A'. The children have taken part in recognising the letter using the mirrored letters and forming the letter 'A' showing great finger control in the flour.  The have been discussing the sound of the week, 'A' Amelie said "Amelie" Albie said "Albie" Ezra said "Apple" when Oliver came over with an acorn he said "Acorn for A". Well done!

They have been colour sorting the dinosaurs placing them into the correct coloured bowls. Mateo showed great confidence placing them into the correct bowls recognising red, blue, yellow, green and orange.

The babies have also had great fun taking part in painting teddy bear masks showing great control whilst holding the paint brushes. Eloise liked to explore with the paint placing it all onto her hands spreading it around on the table.

The babies enjoyed playing with the Duplo bricks moving them around in the tuff tray and banging them onto the floor. They have also been exploring the musical instruments and the different sounds they make.
