Our Values and Ethos
We are a family-run nursery built on a simple idea: children thrive when they feel truly at home. This is why we offer an educational approach that concentrates on a ‘home from home’ environment - soft lighting, natural materials, cosy areas and dens, and a slower, simpler pace to the day. We remove the feeling of rush, so children can fully immerse themselves in play and enjoy the present moment.
We believe each child is unique. Every child is a competent, capable, natural researcher, curious, ready for challenges, and full of desire to learn. We nurture this by helping each child flourish, developing a lifelong love of learning, and reaching their full potential, in an environment where they feel genuinely valued.
We hold ourselves to high standards in everything we do, from the quality of our environment to the quality of care in every interaction. We promote creativity, encourage imaginative and critical thinking, and help children learn to care for and respect themselves and others, and to be sensitive to the feelings of those around them.
We believe nursery education matters in its own right, not simply as preparation for school, which is why we give as much attention to feelings, confidence and emotional wellbeing as we do to readiness for the next stage.
None of this happens alone. Our staff work as a team, and we celebrate wins together, not just the children's achievements, but our own as practitioners too. And we work closely with parents and carers, because a child's learning and achievement is something we all share in.

We work in partnership with families, ensuring you feel informed, involved, and confident in the care and experiences we provide for your child.
Our interactive online learning journals and care diaries keep you connected with your child’s day, allowing you to share in their experiences, achievements, and development.
Before your child starts with us, we offer a one-to-one meeting to discuss their individual needs, routines, and requirements, along with settling-in visits to help them feel comfortable, secure, and ready for their nursery journey.
Healthy eating
We grow our own fruit and vegetables and serve freshly prepared meals.
We are proud of our Children’s Food Award.

A secure gate, door entry system and CCTV ensures your child is safe.
Extensive parking.
No hidden fees or hidden extras
Your child's meals, nappies, wipes, sun lotion and waterproof outdoor set are all included in the fees you pay. Parents to supply formula milk.
Any chargeable additional classes you request for your child are entirely optional, so you only pay for the ones you want.
